The Swat Team includes members of the Morrison County Sheriff’s Office and the Little Falls Police Department. Our law enforcement personnel are fortunate to have such strong support from our community members.
Thanksgiving was not all giving Thursday as Stearns, Benton, Meeker and Swift Counties all got calls of a scam floating around with victims getting calls from law enforcement early Thursday morning, calling and claiming you’ve missed jury duty and now have a warrant out for your arrest and authorities will be at your residence shortly if you do not give them a payment to stop the warrant. They may even pretend to be from law enforcement or the court system. These callers are trying to scare you into paying fake fines or giving up personal information. Hang up immediately. Do not give out any personal or financial information.
